Job assignments
The department is now being restructured in order to focus our work functions on the international master's program aimed at contributing to the Sahlgrenska Academy's and the University's Vision for 2020. This implies undertaking increased responsibility for the education process at the Academy. We focus on ensuring communication of our activities and improving the management of our programmes and courses due to the increasing number of students in the future. Our students include those enrolled in our courses and programmes, as well as the students performing contract education or student's at other universities in European exchange or research programmes. The job assignments consist of managing the structure and content of all our programs and courses, with the two focus areas being intellectual property strategies and entrepreneurship in life sciences. The core job tasks includes renewing the course content, presenting at various workshops and seminars, creating course information and communication with students via GUL or other media.

In order for the holistic understanding and knowledge required for creating the course content, it is very important that you have good experience from the two main areas, the management of intellectual property rights and entrepreneurship in the life science. You should have graduated from our masters program and must have a law degree. You should have at least three years work experience from private business as well as from the university environment, where you have typically worked with the tasks that require attention to details and structure. The core part of the work involves ongoing communication with students as well as internal and external stakeholders, therefore, we expect that you have good communication skills and experience of being a consultant or a coach in an international environment. We strive for getting international breadth and appreciate multicultural understanding, why we require that you have personal, cultural and professional experience from outside Sweden, especially from non-English speaking countries. You should have some entrepreneurial experience. Ideally you are fluent in at least one language other than Swedish and English.
