www.thermofisher.comWE ARE LOOKING FOR PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR OUR ALLERGON SITE IN ÄNGELHOLM, SWEDEN
Allergon is part of Thermo Fisher's Immuno Diagnostic Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics. At the Allergon site in Ängelholm we are approximately 50 people who work together to provide the IDD Headquarters in Uppsala with quality source materials and scientific support for their allergy diagnostic business. As a world leading producer of allergenic source material we also supply external global customers in the allergy diagnostics and healthcare industries.

THE ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys making a difference and wants to influence their day-to-day work. In this role you will be managing a team of 18-20 people in our specialist production facility and working both strategically and hands-on with the production of raw materials for allergy diagnostics tests.
Responsibilities will include:
• Management of our production site in Ängelhom, Skåne and a team of approximately 20 production workers, ensuring the production and supply of high-quality allergenic source and healthcare materials.
• Improving our current production processes, but also developing new and efficient ways of working.
• Securing cross-training and flexibility in the workforce.
• Working closely with the management team to set priorities for the site, measure results and secure outcomes.
• This industry is heavily regulated so you will be expected to follow GMP, industry regulations and work closely with Quality Assurance
• You will work with a wide range of people within the company as well as with external customers or suppliers.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As you will be working with a wide range of allergens, it is important that you are not allergic to anything.
• We are looking for a positive person who is a natural leader and enjoys working with people.
• You should have a university degree in engineering or a scientific subject and at least 10 years of work experience from production management and planning at a pharmaceutical and medical device company.
• Experience of people management and strong communication skills is a must.
• A person who works well in teams, but who also enjoys working independently and managing their own time and priorities.
• This job suits someone who is organized, analytical, structured and comfortable with regular change.
• We hope that you are energetic, driven and work in a service orientated manner.
• You have worked with productivity improvement, production layout; have strong IT skills and knowledge of working with large scale ERP-systems.
• You are familiar with LEAN as a tool for continuous improvement.
• Ideally you speak fluent Swedish and English.
