Product Owner within El Drive Hardware
Volvo Cars is committed to transforming to Agile Way of working applying the Scaled Agile Framework (
https://www.scaledagileframework.com).The Electric Drive Hardware is a part of the department Propulsion Power System. The department and the solution trains deliver products with high quality and with a clear ownership within the development teams in each Agile Release Train (ART). El Drive Hardware is one of the ARTs delivering to Electrical Propulsion and Hybrid Propulsion Product Streams. El Drive Hardware develop El Drives system/components including Mechanicals, Mechatronics and Power Electronics well integrated into EV and Hybrid propulsion architectures including electric machines and inverters.
What's in it for you?
As a Product Owner (PO) you will own the Team backlog for the team.
You will maximize the value added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the program backlog from a technical and business perspective. You work closely with the Scrum master, the team, line/team manager, PM, System architects, other stakeholders and POs to plan, sync, lead and support the development of features and enablers of the ART backlog. Together with the team you break down the ART features and drive the definition of objectives, stories, acceptance criteria's to create and release solutions and technology. You are empowered to accept stories as done and for signing off technical work products and deviations within the scope of the team.
We now look for a Product owner for Inverter HW. The scope of the inverter team is as follows:
Inverter HW technology development. Inverter design and validation requirements
Installation and brackets
Drive inverter Tier 1 suppliers
Do you fit the profile?
You have a university degree within Electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
Principal experience in automotive propulsion product development, working methods and program execution.
You have a very high ability and a strong will to continuously learn and develop your skillset in El drive technology/development.
You are very strong in both formal and influential/inspirational leadership. You have the ability to lead team leaders, apply a holistic and strategic approach, motivate and create confidence, and make things happen.
You are very comfortable to cooperate and communicate with people on different levels in the organization
You are great with oral, written and visual communication and presentation in English and also business oriented, flexible and performance driven.
You do have the courage to take decisions and be accountable.
Experience and training in Scrum/Agile/Scaled agile work practices is a merit.
