As part of the High Pressure PE Product Management team you will serve our customers by driving continuous improvement in product availability, quality, performance and cost. You will through networking with the production sites, the commercial organisation and others ensure that our commercial products meet customers needs and expectations.
Depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications and preferences job can be focusing more on product ownership responsibility or more to project and quality management.
Product ownership responsibility means that you are responsible for defined product range, e.g. by owning the specifications and being responsible for claim investigations and change management of products. As product owner you support production, sales, technical service and marketing, and work also together with e.g. product stewardship, raw material owners and procurement.
If candidate has relevant work experience and qualifications in quality and/or project management, position can be also focusing more on strategic project management, like leading of quality improvement and harmonisation initiatives and product qualifications, and focusing on continuous improvement activities within product management.
Knowledge and skills
• MSc degree in Chemistry or Material Science, preferably with 5-10 years' work experience
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Good cooperation skills, presenting own ideas, taking initiatives and interacting with stakeholders
• Project management skills, and good ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional team
• Understand customers' needs and translate it into technical and product requirements
• Good documentation, presentation and reporting skills
• Fluency in English
• Good IT skills
Behavioural competences
As a person you are highly achievement and result orientated, flexible and comfortable taking and driving own initiatives. You need to have the ability to think in an analytical and conceptual way and also have concern for order and quality. You will work in an international team where you will be the expert in your area.
