Role Summary
Are you passionate about delivering smart, connected solutions that improve how vehicles are maintained and supported in workshops? We are now looking for a Product Owner (PO) to lead the Software Update area within the Workshop Suite - a core capability that enables technicians to efficiently update vehicle systems across a wide range of workshop scenarios.
As PO, you will take ownership of the direction and development of this product area. You will work closely with a dedicated development team and stakeholders across Scania to ensure that our software update tools are intuitive, well-integrated, and continuously evolving to meet the needs of workshops, service technicians, and downstream users.
Your role will involve setting the product vision, maintaining a prioritized backlog, and aligning deliveries with customer expectations and SWS's broader strategy.

Job Responsibilities
Define and drive the vision and roadmap for the Software Update product area.
Maintain a clear and well-structured backlog with prioritized features and improvements.
Collaborate daily with developers, designers, and testers to support efficient development workflows.
Align the software update domain with other areas of the workshop suite to ensure a cohesive user experience.
Translate real-world workshop needs into actionable development items and product decisions.
Engage with internal stakeholders and end users to gather feedback and iterate continuously.
Monitor the usage and impact of delivered features to guide future development.

Who You Are
We are looking for a product-focused leader with experience in digital tools, embedded systems, or automotive software. You are used to working in an agile environment and skilled at managing backlogs, setting product direction, and guiding teams toward shared goals. With your strong communication skills, you thrive as the bridge between user needs and technical priorities.
In a complex environment, you feel confident navigating both technical and operational perspectives, always with the ambition to create customer value and deliver real impact in the workshop. Your curiosity, structured way of working, and drive make you a strong force in shaping the solutions of tomorrow.

Meriting Experiences:
Knowledge of workshop tools, diagnostic systems, or vehicle communication protocols.
Experience with embedded software updates or system-level integrations.
Previous roles as Product Owner, Product Manager, Systems Engineer, or Scrum Master.
Familiarity with Scania's workshop environments, connected tools, or service flows.
Experience working with cloud-based platforms, cross-functional teams, and agile methods.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds - your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.
