Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's Driving the shift strategy. The Connected Systems department (EC) consists of 100+ wizards securing Scania's path to global connectivity enabling sustainable and profitable transportation services.
Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today have over 400 000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. The department is looking for a Product Owner responsible for two development teams delivering backend functionality for the overall connectivity- & IoT platform.
What you will do
Now the fun part! As a Product Owner you are responsible for collecting our stakeholders business needs and transform those needs into action items for our development teams. You are both helping the agile development teams with prioritising their backlogs and at the same time keeping track of the conceptual and technical roadmap of your product.
Who you are
To be successful as a Product Owner within our organization we believe that you have a proven track record of managing several software development projects either as a Product Owner, Project Manager or Business Analyst. To fit in our development team you need to be a person who is visionary, structured and creative.
You most likely have a formal engineering degree in software, electrical or computer science, or the equivalent experience. Knowledge in the areas of cloud/ IoT/ connectivity and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role.
