Business Unit Support Solutions has three focus areas; OSS/BSS, TV/Media and M-Commerce. Our growth is accelerating and we are looking for a talented individual with a strong personal drive who would like to be part of this growth journey and complement our successful team.
You will be responsible for product marketing of our industry leading OSS/BSS software suite. Your role is critical to ensure that we can stay ahead of competition in our areas of strength such as charging and surpass competition in our newer portfolio areas such as analytics and cloud management.
Accountabilities
You will be responsible for a well defined scope of OSS/BSS product marketing within the OSS/BSS Product Marketing team (a high-performing unit responsible for driving our messaging of the full OSS/BSS software portfolio).
You will be accountable and responsible for:
Analyze and understand the market, competitors and customer needs and develop key marketing insights
Define and decide on marketing strategy in close collaboration with product management, strategy and sales
Execute on the marketing strategy and secure that meet or exceeds our challenging KPIs
Build product specific content, assets and sales tools (e.g. use cases, value propositions, business cases, demos and case studies)
Support marketing activation as a subject matter expert and act as spokesperson
Continuously drive the development of your competence and the profession to ensure we are a leading Product Marketing team
Qualifications
We are looking for a strong software marketing professional with experience in OSS/BSS solutions to develop marketing strategies, flawlessly execute on them and celebrate the success afterwards. Knowledge of professional and system integration services is a definite plus so you can tell the full Ericsson story.
We would really like for you to have background with an operator working first hand with OSS/BSS systems so you are able to articulate well Ericsson?s unique value proposition in a credible way.
But most of all, we are looking for a highly valued colleague, that will work together with us, to win the perception and game in OSS/BSS and take marketing to the next level. All while having lots of fun!
You should have:
Engaging personality with a strong drive and ?results? focus in all that you do.
Bold personality with a few big accomplishments from past jobs to show that you are able to win a grand slam with the right team
Extensive experience in marketing and/or sales and/or strategy with a clear focus on value argumentation and customer benefits
Experience in a multicultural and international setting, and the ability to work remotely with colleagues
Innovative and creative ideas to be able to establish new and effective marketing methodologies and programs
Understanding of business fundamentals, business logic and global trends relevant to OSS/BSS
Proven track record in Marketing and Communications outside of Ericsson is of special interest and will be highly valued
Strong verbal and written communication skills are an absolute must!
