Connectivity at Scania is one of the keys in Scania "driving the shift" strategy. At the Strategic Planning group within Connected Systems we care for the planning and orchestration of the development within the whole department.
At Connected Systems we have implemented EC Flow as our way of working (inspired by SAFe - Scaled Agile) and is now looking for a Product Manager to help us drive the overall solution part of the connectivity product portfolio. To be able to succeed you will work together with the already existing Product Managers and Product Owners, supported by the managers at the department.
What you will do
You will be a key person in the solution level part of the EC Flow (SAFe at EC) setup.
Your main tasks will stretch from securing the product backlog at the different release trains to Initiatives at portfolio level. Together with other Product Managers and Product Owners you will develop and also implement the way of working within the department.
You will make sure that our initiatives (research, project, improvements, incidents) have a plan forward and you will work with high level strategic goals mixed with ongoing activities.
You will work closely together with managers at the department to define new strategic goals and support the realization of current ones.
Who you are
We are looking for a highly experienced engineer / project manager / manager with good structure and communication skills. You like to see things get done and you enjoy creating common goals. Agile development, continuous deployment and integration is well known to you.
You most likely have a formal degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering or computer science, or the equivalent experience. In addition you are expected to have at least 5 years' experience from working with technical products. Knowledge of the areas of cloud/ IoT/ connectivity and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role.
