Division Summary:
The ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics. The allergy and autoimmunity product lines operate on a common instrument platform, Phadia Laboratory Systems, which supports both productivity and cost efficiencies in clinical laboratories around the world. The leading products of the ImmunoDiagnostics Division include ImmunoCAP for allergy and asthma tests and EliA for autoimmunity tests.

Job Summary:
Clinical Decision Support Tools is a new area which is under development within Allergy and Autoimmunity specific testing within laboratories. By providing clear clinical recommendations in connection with laboratory test results added value is given to the clinicians.

The Product Manager Decision Support Tools is a global position responsible for managing the product portfolio around Decision Support Tools. It includes development and implementation of new products, from concept to launch. The Product Managers responsibility includes driving the product strategy, defining the roadmap, managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with R&D, to deliver products with key differentiation.
The Product Manager will be responsible for being an in-house expert on their product portfolio and supporting customer applications in the safety & security or pharmaceutical markets.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Understanding of the market landscape, customer needs and competitive environment.
• Development of global product marketing plans including, situation analysis, price, registration plan, need for evidence generation, segmentation, targeting, positioning, product life cycle, revenue forecast, and marketing mix to create competitive advantage, in collaboration with customer marketing.
• Plays a central role in the portfolio leadership team.
• Drive execution of marketing plans /portfolio strategy.
• Initiate and formulate needs for market research in relation to portfolio development in collaboration with the Customer Insights team. Lead the preparation of business cases and product requirements in close cooperation with commercial organizations securing to meet customer needs and validated revenue expectations.
• Participate and own the market representation in product development projects.
• Drive initiation of launch strategy, marketing and sales concepts for new product launches in collaboration with customer marketing.
• Identify and articulate training and development needs and work closely with regional marketing leadership to maximize usage of resources.
• Lead the collection of post-market surveillance.
• Provide support to the global sales organizations, including support of the product support manager and customer visits.
• Drive functional and cross-functional collaboration, including R&D and Commercial operations.
• Partner and influence with key customers and important stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in Marketing or MBA is preferred.
• Documented education in the area of bioinformatics is strongly preferred

Professional Experience Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years Product Management experience is required.
• Experience in the autoimmune/ allergy disease market and knowledge of autoimmune/allergy testing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated applications of big data, bio-informatics or applied algorithms.
• Life science, diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other health care experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently to take initiative and exercise astute business judgment to drive performance.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a multinational/multicultural environment
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications is required.

• This position requires significant international travel - up to 25%, as required.
