www.plantagen.seWe are looking for someone who wants to work as Product Manager in the Design business area. The position is at Group level and is based in Stockholm. You will report to the Business Area Manager, Design.

Job description
As Product Manager in the Design business area, you will work actively on product range planning and be involved in product development, sourcing, supplier contacts, negotiations, logistical planning and order administration, in the first instance for products in the following areas: gifts & decoration, candles & napkins artificial flowers and seasonal articles.
You will have overall responsibility for these product groups from planning product ranges until the products reach the end customer. Most purchases are currently made from suppliers in China/Asia. Your role will also include developing processes and securing the commercial side of your area of responsibility.
The position involves travel within Europe & Asia.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a few years' experience from purchasing or similar, in which you worked with international purchases and imports from Asia, ideally with experience from a large retail chain with a strong focus on products and product range.
You have experience of negotiation and a good understanding of logistics and building up a product range from scratch. We consider it an advantage if you have worked with garden products or interior design.
To succeed in this role, you will be result-oriented, ambitious and motivational. The work requires you to be precise, systematic and self-motivating, with an ability to make decisions. You are communicative and can make presentations.
You can deal with stress and have an ability to prioritise. You are also unassuming, receptive and modest. As Plantagen is in an expansive phase, it is important that you are a team player who understands that everyone is contributing to the company's journey into the future.
You have good skills in spoken and written English, and we consider it an advantage if you are fluent in Swedish.
