Our department, working with Global Product Management within Engineered Solutions, has as its main goal to support and ensure the success of various development projects in our global organization's key industry segments - aerospace, automotive and oil and gas. We develop and deliver globally advanced engineered solutions, technologies and application knowledge, all in line with our customers' high demands and component needs. We are currently looking for a Product Manager within non-aluminum components for the automotive segment to join us, and we offer you an exciting and innovative environment where you take part in the development and growth of our business.
The location for this role can be open for discussion, however we do prefer that you be stationed in Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
As a Product Manager, you are accountable for ensuring a growing, competitive and commercial offering of engineered solutions related to the automotive segment, and you certify that we work in accordance with the Coromant business and component strategy. You set the sales target for your area of responsibility and analyze, follow up and act on sales statistics, as well as give advice on corrective actions. Ensuring that we develop and maintain a market-competitive product portfolio that meets our profitability targets is an important part of your mission, and you decide whether a product should be included or excluded by managing our product roadmap and analyzing, monitoring and evaluating competitors and market trends. Additionally, you collaborate and network with internal and external stakeholders and customers to build a high level of competence in all parts connected to the automotive segment.
This position involves international travel.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant area. You have solid experience from marketing or sales in an international environment and an overall understanding of the metal cutting industry - in particular product applications, customer segments and competitors. Your technical attention is a key to success and your experience of performing market analysis and knowledge of value selling and marketing processes are considered advantageous. You are a skilled user of Microsoft Office and, as we interact on the global stage, you are fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing. Skills in Swedish or other languages are beneficial.
