The Guided Wave Radar Product Management team handles a portfolio of continuous level measurement solutions with exciting challenges to assist in the creation of program roadmap plans to meet future customer requirements.
We believe this person has a strong personal drive and is able to combine technology with customer's needs. As a Product Engineer, you will be the voice of the customers and seek to understand how we can improve our existing offering or create new products for the future. The position requires a person that is well versed with defining and balancing different customer requirements.
The position offers a great opportunity to develop further knowledge and skills in product management with a chance to grow within portfolio management or marketing and to play an important role in the future of our radar portfolio.
Responsibilities
In our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Product Managers within the Guided Wave Radar program area throughout the entire life cycle; from idea through active sales until discontinuance. In order to develop the portfolio you will need to translate the customers' needs into a prioritized product roadmap and collaborate with the development organization in realizing those plans. You will work closely with sales and engineering to achieve goals together.
The role will have a variety of supporting tasks including understanding of customer needs and transforming these into requirements as well as managing of product maintenance. Depending on the applicant's profile a broader responsibility within the product management team can be considered, such as customer training or marketing activities. Being a senior role, you are expected to guide junior colleagues.
Requirements
To succeed in the position, you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a relevant position. We see that you hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience from previous roles.
You have a broad technical understanding rather than deep expertise. You are commercial driven with a strong customer focus.
