Publiceringsdatum2012-12-05Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a product designer you will be responsible for concepting, creating and designing within the internal design process. There are several levels of critical points and follow-up through our project calendar. This includes taking the initial brief of project into concept art and sketch phase, moving to physical modeling / 3d rendering and then developing the design in collaboration with engineering to achieve the overall product design.
Further you have the responsibility to deliver into the project all the decided execution details including color, graphic, physical dimensions (developed with engineering) and needed follow-ups after the initial design phase is completed. (potential revisions to design due to manufacture technique, cost targets and alternate approvals.
KvalifikationerWe are looking for a person who has a product design university background with ideally 2-5 years experience as a product designer with a consumer product company. Child-themed product design experience is a plus, toy industry background is ideal. You need to understand brands and how to work with them commercially for best overall product execution. Further you must be interested to work closely in a team environment to help develop the products to internal quality, safety and pedagogic demands as well as cost and concept targets.
We are interested in a designer with strong sketching abilities and able to work with rendering software after preliminary concepting.
Sample sketching portfolios are helpful for consideration.
