Natural Cycles is a leading women's health company that developed the world's first birth control app, used by millions globally. We are a fast growing startup, and we promote an international working environment filled with smart and ambitious colleagues based in Stockholm, Geneva, New York, and remotely. Our mission is to pioneer women's health through research and passion, empowering every woman with the knowledge she needs to take charge of her health.
We're looking for a Product Designer for the Device Integrations area in our Product team to help us define how our users interact with our app through different measuring devices - oral thermometers and wearables (Oura Ring and Apple Watch).
By joining our team, you'll get the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects with a team of Product Designers, User Researchers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. You'll work on strategic projects as well as short, iterative A/B tests where you'll get to see the impact of your work right away. What you will be doing

You'll be a part of the Product team and work across our app but your main focus will be on designing a smooth experience for our users regardless of the measuring device they use with our app.

You'll work on projects from start to finish - mapping out user journeys, wireframing, sketching, and creating polished visual mockups. Your main focus will be designing how users connect devices and interact with data from integrations.

You'll collaborate with our Software Engineers to build up and improve our existing integrations.

You'll be working in a tight-knit agile team with a Product Manager, other Designers, Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineer on a day-to-day basis.

You'll be frequently collaborating with our User Research team at different stages of product development.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the team's product roadmap, ideating ways to improve our product on your own and with the team.

You'll also be a part of the Product Design team, collaborating with designers from across product teams at Natural Cycles. You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and brand, collaborate on strategic projects, and help build team processes.

What skills and experience we think you have

You've been working with Product Design for 3+ years in consumer-focused products.

You have a good understanding of UX processes and user/centered design practice.

You have experience in advocating for a user-centered mindset in your team and stakeholders around you by conducting workshops, brainstorming sessions, etc.

You can design beautiful interfaces, applying your knowledge of color, typography, layout, and other design principles.

You have experience working with design systems.

You're used to working with a data-driven design process and incorporate both quantitative and qualitative data in your work.

You're able to articulate and explain your ideas, can listen to and give feedback, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

You might also have experience working with device integrations or complex user flows.

You have an online portfolio or PDF with case studies of projects and design implementations that you can't wait to share with us!

What we offer

Flexible work arrangement - you will be part of a team based in and around Stockholm that values effective collaboration and transparent communication, irrespective of work location
