Could you be the full-time onsite Procurement Site Director in Vasteras, SE we're looking for?

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic and multicultural teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving procurement excellence and ensuring seamless collaboration between the Procurement Function and Site operational members.
Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, quality, and accounting), manage and develop a high-performing procurement team, and ensure alignment with global strategies to deliver impactful results and continuous improvement.

We'll look to you for:
Representing procurement on-site as a member of the Site Management Committee, relaying critical information and decisions that may impact activities,

Supervising procurement cost commitment preparation to support tender preparation,

Managing and developing a diverse team of procurement professionals, including Procurement Managers, Procurement Project Managers (PPM), Procurement Tender Managers (PTM), Senior Buyers, and Buyers,

Deploying global strategies and fostering synergies by maintaining close links with Global Procurement teams (Commodity Managers, Domain Directors).,

Supporting local teams in commercial and contractual negotiations during project execution phases,

Monitoring and securing procurement performance, including supplier QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and raw material inventory,

Analyzing risks and setting appropriate mitigation plans to secure project execution and profitability.

Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field,

Experience or understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization,

Familiarity with working in a matrix environment and managing cross-functional teams,

Knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and market trends in the rail industry,

Ability to develop and inspire teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement,

Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities ,

International mindset with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments ,

Strong communication and leadership skills,

Results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) ,

Proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
