Since Formox began selling formaldehyde iron oxide catalyst in 1966, we now have a dominant market position supplying to more than 500 plants word wide. Wholly owned by Perstorp, and world leaders in formaldehyde technology, we supply know-how, plants, catalysts and technical support. In order to meet an increased catalyst sales volume and an increasing number of plant projects we now seek to employ an additional Process Engineer.
Your role within the Formox Technology department will be engineering- design- testing- evaluating- and commissioning work in our catalyst plant. You will be based in the Formox head office in Perstorp, Sweden.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will involve:
• Engineering and design work in expansion projects in our catalyst plant.
• Measuring and testing the performance of the existing equipment.
• Evaluation of new equipment for the catalyst production.
• Participation in continuous development of our catalyst plant.
• Assisting our Catalyst sales department with troubleshooting.
• Supporting the plant process design work in the Process department.
• Commissioning and startup of new equipment.
Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or equivalent, minimum five years of experience, preferably within the process industry. Experience from project work in industrial applications, preferably chemical production. Essential capabilities are technical skills, structured working methods, a high degree of flexibility and an ability to work with others. A proactive attitude, being able to grasp responsibility and also an active approach to troubleshooting is natural to you.
Experience from production expansion projects, process evaluation and production optimization would of course be an advantage.
