Pre-Comm Manager
As Pre-Comm Manager at Syngenta Seeds you will be involved in the entire process of taking pre-commercial seeds from the initial stages, working closely with plant breeders, through production and to the market. This is a global position based in Landskrona, Sweden. You will be coordinating the planning, the seed multiplication, the seed processing, to make sure that seeds are delivered at the required quality, volume and time to all markets. You will be working together with R&D, Production, Marketing & Sales and the Quality Lab to continuously improve the Pre-commercial seeds operations. You will be involved in testing and implementing new technologies. You will be working with competitive intelligence and you will communicate actively with all involved stakeholders about demand, availability, prioritization and other potential issues.

Qualifications:
• You have an academic degree in Agronomy, Natural Science or equivalent.
• You have at least 3 years experience of working with international project management in complex organizations working close to production and/or R&D.
• We see it as a great advantage if you have experience of working with seeds (and preferably sugar beet seeds) or plant breeding. It is also an advantage if you experience in Supply Chain Management and if you have knowledge of agribusiness in general.
• You are fluent in English in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you also master Swedish and/or Danish.
As a person you have the ability to drive change, work autonomously, and set your own priorities. You are able to establish and manage a virtual team. You have strong inter-personal skills, communications skills and ability to operate effectively in multi-cultural environments. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
