PLM Business Analyst - PDM Development
At PDM development we are a team of 13 employees and 10 consultants. We have the responsibility to continuously drive the operational development around the main PDM (Product Data Management) applications KDP (Konstruktions Data Personvagnar) and Teamcenter. We work both with minor improvements in smaller teams as well as with larger projects in more extensive project organisations. Our main projects, recently started, will implement the next generations of PDM tools to support the development of our new products at Volvo Cars.
As a PLM Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the development of the future PDM tools that we strive to develop within the next 5-year time span. You will lead the solution and method development in the key areas of PDM like Product Configuration, Product Structures and Product Change Management. We believe that you have a logic mind-set, a structured way of working and share our passion for managing Product information in an ever changing area of high technology product development.
Main responsibilities
* Act as business analyst/method developer in the PDM area
+ Lead and develop methods and IT tools in the PDM domain
+ Actively contribute in identifying and describing the business needs
+ Develop conceptual PDM solutions and processes
+ Specify and prioritise business requirements
Required qualifications
* Experience in Operational/Method development or PLM support
* Experience in Automotive or similar product development
* Skills in KDP or similar PDM applications
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Technical academic education, preferably Master of Science or similar degree
* Strong workshop facilitation knowledge
* Ability to listen and to pin point the core issue
* Skills in Microsoft Office
* Driver's license B
Personal qualities
* Interested in the PLM area
* Good balance of technical and leadership capabilities.
* Driven and self-managed
* Excellent level of communication skills and ability to act as a team player
* Work in a structured and organized way
* Positive and open minded.
