We are looking for a person with true experience in PLM/PDM systems and product development. Your background could be in mechanical engineering/design and your devotion is to develop IT solutions used in product development processes.
We also believe you have interest and ability to lead projects , and to overview and support multi-projects programs. You express excellent service, skills and know-how in finding and providing solution to our business.
You will belong to our Corporate IS&T department and be a member of a team responsible for PLM/PDM and CAD systems.
The main objectives as an PLM Administrator are to provide the global organization needed sustaining and change management support with high availability and security. To understand the needs and requirements the user organization have and to develop and support efficient solutions in PLM/PDM systems.
Personal tasks
• Developing/enhance our PLM/PDM systems
• Participate in and/or lead assigned tasks and projects
• System configuration and maintenance .
• Analyzing , troubleshooting PLM/PDM systems
• Keep system documentation and training material up to date.
• Provide key users and end user training
• To be a member of PLM admin helpdesk organization.
The position has a Corporate responsibility that involves some travelling, possibly over several days, to other locations which are positioned globally. Availability in off hours may be required to resolve severe system issues (Incidents) or to take part in planned system maintenance.
Candidate profile
• Education: BS or BA, with math or science emphasis, preferred optional Associates degree from IT Technical University with additional work experience
• 5 years experience in engineering, mechanical design, and/or 3-5 years in PLM/PDM systems administration.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure , project management and design processes
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish. Preferably oral command of at least one other language in addition to mother tongue.
