You will be part of FACTS in Västerås. We are part of the Power Systems Division. Our business covers a range of technologies that improves safety, capacity and flexibility in electrical power systems. The FACTS solutions enable power system owners to improve capacity in their existing power system while the electrical stability improves. As a result, more power reaches the customers at a minimal environmental impact, after shorter project times and to lower costs. All this in comparison to the alternatives, which are to build new transmission lines or new power generating processes. At the unit we are 240 coworkers.
Challenge: In this position you will find yourself in an international environment where you will get to work with customers and suppliers all over the world. The field of energy optimization is characterized by growth and innovation. You will work with strategic business development and collaborate with our global offices. The focus of your work will be electromechanical design, using SolidWorks 3D CAD as design tool. You will be fully responsible for a project part in which you will shoulder responsibility for the budget and all technical and qualitative aspects. Within your role, you will also work with design and dimensioning as well as quantify and purchase material for our different types of projects.
Requirements: You need a degree in Engineering with focus on Electrical Power or Mechanics. Apart from these skills, you are a proficient user of programs such as MS Office, Lotus Notes and CAD/3D CAD. To shoulder this role you need to master Swedish and English, spoken and written alike, while additional language skills are
qualifying. Experience from electromagnetic and electrical field calculations, general plant design and/or electromechanical design of electrical power constructions are considered as additional qualifications. As a person, you are engaged, organized and professional. You have an innate ability to build strong relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders, and to work towards common goals. In addition, you are responsible, driven, adaptable and goal-oriented.
