PhD student in Non-fullerene organic solar cells
formally based at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM)
Duties
The PhD candidate will focus on understanding charge generation, recombination, and extraction of non-fullerene OSCs, aiming to provide guidance for the rational design of donor / acceptor materials for further enhanced efficiency.
As a PhD student you will primarily devote yourself to your research. As a PhD student you are limited to work with education and administration up to 20 percent of full time.

The applicant has to have or soon to have finished a Master in Science or equivalent in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or equivalent. It is an advantage to have prior experimental experience of what is described in the Job description above - in particular, semiconductor physics, organic semiconductors, or solar cells. Good skills in spectroscopy and/or programming (PythonMatlab, LabView or similar) would be favorable.
Candidates with an average grade equivalent to > 4 in the Swedish grading system or a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) > 4 in the international system are welcome to apply.

Qualified to PhD studentships are only those who are or have been admitted to graduate studies. Your application must be received at latest 31 of December 2018.
