Assignment description
Jefferson Wells is now hiring a Performance engineer to reinforce the MGT performamce dept. This team is responsible for analysis and modeling performamce of the gas turbines as well as working as a center for studies of new thermodynamic cycles.
Your responsibilities
As a performance engineer, you perform calculations and investigations within the area of thermodynamics for our gas turbines. The main focus for you will be on our market leader, SGT-800, but the role includes working with many of the other products as well. Your role will include, but not be limited to:
* Performance analysis, engine evaluation and modelling.
* Supporting service upgrades, customer demands, service inquiries and fault reports.
* Supporting sales and order execution to ensure competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
* Monitoring engines in the field and collecting data for follow up, closing the loop towards other disciplines within the organization.
* Work closely together with the performance responsible for each product to enhance and develop ways of working and customer satisfaction.
Your profile
* You have a Master of Science within engineering or +10 years of experience within the area of gas turbines.
* You have good knowledge within the area of thermodynamics and gas turbine theory.
* You have good English skills both verbally and written
* Previous work experience in the area of gas turbine performance is highly valued.
* As a person, you are service-minded, curious and positive. You enjoy supporting others and facing new challenges.
* You are open to do short notice tasks and have the ability to prioritize.
