Sobi is now recruiting to an exciting position as Packaging Manager to External Manufacturing. As Packaging Manager you will provide technical expertise and support on secondary packaging and labelling to the External Manufacturing Organization and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO).You will be part of a fun experienced team and have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experiences with dedicated co-workers and external partners.
The position is based in Hornsberg, Stockholm.

Publiceringsdatum2015-11-12Dina arbetsuppgifterAs Packaging Manager you will provide technical expertise and support on secondary packaging and labelling to the External Manufacturing Organization and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO).
You will work with packaging component and label suppliers and contract manufacturers to identify, evaluate, develop and implement new packaging in support of Sobis products. Further you will work closely with Packaging Design and Development in order to align secondary packaging design, material selection, engineering and development for Sobi's products including Life cycle management initiatives, for implementation in commercial packaging processes.
As Packaging Manager your responsibilities will also include:
• interface with commercial organizations for inquiries regarding product packaging.
• lead packaging and labeling improvement projects and activities.
• support packaging CMO selection process.
• take responsibility for set-up and transfer of Secondary Packaging processes to CMO.
• support operational management of packaging CMOs. Ensure robust packaging process performance at CMO.
• provide expertise around required documentation for packaging and labelling, materials and processes to support implementation, commercialization and regulatory submission requirements
• act as subject matter expert (SME) in packaging and labelling by continuously maintaining knowledge in the fields of secondary packaging and labelling technology, packaging design, processes, , packaging materials, and serialization.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
The right candidate fulfills the following qualifications:
• minimum of 5 years recent experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry with secondary packaging and labelling, development of pharma packaging, implementation of new packaging, packaging technology, packaging technology transfer and packaging support activities.
• in-depth knowledge of secondary packaging and labelling technology, packaging design, processes, packaging equipment, packaging materials.
• knowledge and experience of artwork generation and requirements for pharma packaging.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Swedish).
• in-depth knowledge of the regulatory standards and compliance expectations related to packaging and labelling materials and processes.
To be successful in the role you are driven, service minded, and flexible with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You have a high sense of responsibility and the ability to communicate your knowledge and experiences. You feel comfortable working in a role that combines strategic and more operational tasks. Strong team working skills are required to work effectively and establish/maintain effective working relationships with internal/external partners.
