What we offer you
During 15 intense and exciting months, this program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and also learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several "on-the-job" rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at Volvo Group.
Our organization
Your new team belongs to Production Logistics, which is a part of Group Truck Operations (GTO). We are an organization of approximately 650 employees, globally connected to deliver logistics solutions with world class operational excellence. We ensure that transportation is purchased, packaging is made available at our supplier, material is transported to our production facilities and vehicles are distributed to our customers on time. We design and optimize the Production Logistics supply chain for the Volvo Group, prepare logistics for new products and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process. We strive for an innovative and diverse workplace, based upon the values of Volvo Group always with high focus on customer success.

We, Transport Optimization (TNO) SE, is a high performing team of 15 persons located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our mission is to design, optimize & implement transport set-ups for the right total cost, environmental impact and most efficient lead-time within the area of Transport Material, Packaging and Transport Products.
We build a culture of pro-activity and work together with our business partners and colleagues to identify and optimize logistic set-ups.
Main activities and responsibilities
We want you to support our journey to become more digitalized. You will:
Develop visual management and KPI's for TNO teams
Improve existing processes and way of working with automatized solutions
Support our journey with digital solutions and analytical skills
Design, optimize & implement transport set-ups in cooperation with Colleagues & Business Partners
Who are you?
We believe that you, our new team member, are a communicative team player with the ambition to develop both yourself and the business that you are working in. We think you have a strong drive for innovations and also skills in digitalization and analytics. Since you will work a lot with logistics, we believe you possess overall good knowledge in this area.
Main requirements:
BSc or MSc in engineering science, computer science or logistics
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation
Solid English skills
Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
