If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several "on-the-job" rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.
Our organization:
Tuve Plant supplies frame members to Tuve production line, Ghent, Kaluga and our KD plants. At site has 2000 employees and have four shifts, manufacturing frame members around the clock and has a capacity: 82, 500 frame member pairs per year. Production line is of fishbone type with kitting and pre-assembly operations carried out in close proximity to main line. At the moment we produce 105 trucks per day. Tuve packs truck component kits for subsequent assembly in one of our KD assembly plants, supplies kits including South Africa, Thailand, India, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Morocco, Taiwan and Tunisia.

The department of Method and Process Development, Pilot Plant is responsible to introduce and to verify product changes for Volvo Heavy Duty. The organization consists of Intro Operators, Intro Engineers as well as resources within functional testing and software, covering all the technical areas of the truck. Pilot plant is a global arena where the latest production engineering technology should be present. It is a place where Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization learns about new technology and where we ensure that we introduce the best trucks in the world!
Main activities and responsibilities:
In Pilot Plant you will work in a creative atmosphere where we will develop the next generation assembly concepts with the product and the process in focus. Market is changing towards new products and we need to be fast and flexible.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
• A BSc or MSc in engineering science
• Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
• Solid English and Swedish skills or have an ambition to learn rapidly
• To be a communicative team player with the ambition to develop both yourself and the business that you are working in.
• Networking ability in a multi-cultural environment
• Technical interests in general
• A valid work permit
For this position we also value:
• Experience from production and or production engineering
• Competence in virtual tools
• Competence in Industry 4.0 tools
Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks.
