Admeta is a company focused on delivering full service technology solutions for large online publishers helping them increase yield on online ad inventory. We are one of Europe's leading suppliers of online ad exchange solutions and are now facing a period of strong growth.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Admeta currently operate around 60 servers in two separate environments, composed of both Windows and Linux servers. The Operations department is charged with ensuring uptime of 99.99% and front-end response times below 50ms. These mission-critical environments are constantly evolving and an additional experienced Operations Engineer is therefore required. The position is based on Vallgatan in central Göteborg.
Role and Responsibilities
Admeta currently host our servers with a managed hosting supplier and the role therefore requires co-operation and interaction with our hosting partner, as well as hands-on work.
The role includes:
Maintenance of the internal IT environment (Exchange, AD, SBS, desktop configuration)
Configuration of applications running on Windows and Linux servers (IIS, Apache, .Net custom apps)
Identifying areas for improvement and proactively monitoring and managing the hosted environments
Project-based work together with hosting suppliers and development teams
Assisting with implementation of stage and sandbox environments for Admeta's products
Identifying tasks that can be automated in the hosted environment

Utbildning och erfarenhet
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Background
• Degree in Computer Science or a related area
• 5+ years of related work experience in networking, Windows, Linux and Operations in mission-critical environments
• Experience in hosting environments
• Strong MySQL administration experience
• Strong Linux skills
• Exposure to SAN's, CDN's and VPN solutions
• Experience working with Active Directory and Exchange
• Working knowledge of router, switch, load balancer and firewall configuration
• VM (ESX, Hyper-V, etc) experienced a benefit
• Programming experience would be advantageous

You are sociable, outgoing and a good communicator, both spoken and written, in Swedish and English. You are practical, resourceful and enjoy troubleshooting as much as planned changes. You are well organised, thorough, ambitious, work well in a team and on your own and enjoy meeting targets that you are set. Furthermore you are open to change and ideas from others.
