The ITW Construction Products segment offers Construction fastening systems products for the commercial, residential and renovation sector
Your role:
To carry out all marketing analytics including market research, market trends, customer trends and competitor information. To identify the key needs of our end users, especially the Carpenter, Roofer and Joiner tradesmen as well as General Builders.
Your main tasks as a Nordic Market Insight Assistant will involve:
• Customer data collection, insight analysis and presenting results of research.
• Qualitative and quantitative Market Research using various methods such as face to face, phone and online interviews.
• Developing Marketing insights based on opportunities within the Nordic markets.
• Manage Nordic research projects, including survey construction and analysis, online community research and desktop research.
Your profile:
• You are a proactive person with great communication skills.
• You can work efficiently under pressure both independently and in a team.
• You can speak and write fluently in English and Swedish.
• You have excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• You have interest within the Construction area and are a keen learner.
• You don't see job-related travels as a problem since travel might be required to visit jobsites across the Nordic region.
Responsibilities:
• Compilation, analysis and distribution of Nordic Market Trend Report quarterly (Market Trends are based on available market reports).
• Compilation and reporting of competitor information for the Nordic countries.
• Pricing research of comparable competitor products, key features (strengths and weaknesses) of competitor products, nature of competitor services
• Working with the Nordic Region Product Managers and European Market Insight Manager to support product research and developments.
• Product or Application specific end user research which include telephone research, site research (face to face) and internet research.
• Formulating of findings from above mentioned Research in clear written report and PowerPoint presentations.
Experience in marketing or the construction industry is desirable but not necessary as full training will be given.
This role would be ideal for:
• A marketing student looking to conduct research for their bachelor/master's thesis.
• A recent university graduate who is looking to take their first steps into the professional working world.
