Job description
As Nordic Financial Accountant you will handle the day-to-day management of the Finance function. This includes preparation of company accounting records & reporting in compliance with both Statutory & Corporate requirements, establishment of system’s controls and operational procedures for the accounting function of the Nordic finance department as well as monthly accruing, month end routine, reconcile (or review account technicians reconciliation) of all balance accounts monthly. Furthermore you will oversee inter-Company transactions, for example invoices received, rebilling & netting. You will report quarterly bad debt reserve, quarterly tax packages and annual tax provision, contingency, CPA requests, other IC reporting as well as external reporting of VAT review for the Nordic Countries.
You will also contribute with business Analysis such as weekly sales reporting and assist Sales Management, General Manager and local management.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate has recognised senior accounting qualification, excellent technical foundation in accounting and finance with an understanding and thorough knowledge of accounting principles, if possible including US GAAP.
To succeed in this role you need to have good communication and management skills as well as strong PC & system skills. Min 3 years experience in managing accounting, budgeting and forecasting in a commercial & multi-national environment is required.
