We are now looking for an experienced IT specialist / Java developer located in Stockholm, Hamburg or Amsterdam.You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of some of our existing ETRM systems/applications managed from Stockholm. The position also entices participation in our continuous improvement activities through our many projects and changes which might entice some travel to our other sites in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Hamburg. Your responsibilitiesMaintain our existing ETRM systems/application in Stockholm
• Participate in projects as developer and analyst.
• Handle issues and incidents that might occur in our daily business
• Manage Change and Release within your responsibility area
• Manage Builds within Maven/Hudson
Your profile
We are looking for somebody who is/has:
• Academic degree within IT, engineering, or similar
• Service-minded and communicative
• A team-player
• Self driven
• Good to excellent in general Java knowledge
• Knowledgeable in SOA, Spring, Enterprise architecture and integration platforms
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Swedish, Dutch and German are merits)
Additionally we see it as a merit if you have:
• Good understanding of the energy markets Vattenfall operates on
• Knowledge of financial/commodity market instruments
• Experience from working at a trading house
• Worked with JIRA, Maven, Hudson, and/or Subversion
• Worked with Vaadin
• Knowledge of XLPM (former PROPS)
• Experience with agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, XP)
