Job description
We are looking for newly graduated engineers to work with software development for next-generation radio base stations. As a Software Designer at the Node Design unit, you will be responsible for the development of state-of-the-art baseband and control software.
Your tasks will include working with hardware-dependent software, implementing signal processing functions and algorithms in DSPs (digital signal processors), and working with control applications in a higher abstraction layer. Experience in all phases of product development - from design and implementation to integration and testing - would be highly regarded.
These positions are based in Stockholm (Kista), Sweden.
Qualifications and requested competence
• A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Data Communication or equivalent academic degree is required.
• A strong interest in software development and programming
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken - is essential.
• Telecom and embedded and DSP programming experience is an advantage.
In this role, you will need to be a self-starter who can take the initiative and work independently while at the same time being an effective team player. You will need to work to deadlines and be focused on results. Most importantly, we want someone who is open to learning and will share their findings with others.
