We are now looking for a Network Specialist within the Network Operations team.
Role description
The Network Operations team support the delivery of connected vehicle services for all Volvo brands and has the full responsibility for the design, implementation and availability of the global hybrid network infrastructure and services utilized. A major element of the daily business is in understanding the incoming business and technical requirements and translating these into robust and efficient network solutions needed to fulfill demanding customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement and test well-functioning network solutions supporting our application needs
Assisting Domain Teams to design and implement the optimal solutions needed
Providing support during incidents and deployments, occasionally outside of office hours
Troubleshooting system failures and identifying bottlenecks
Working with our partners to ensure solid end-to-end network implementations
Looking for ways to improve network security, reliability, performance, cost and automation
Competence Profile & Qualifications
Very good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
Experienced in automation, configuration and management of network infrastructure
Specific experience of Juniper, Big IP F5 and Palo Alto is an advantage
Good knowledge and hands-on experience of cloud network technologies is highly desired
Linux and scripting skills, competent in CloudFormation
Industry certifications strongly preferred
Minimum 5 years professional experience working with above
Location
The position is based at our riverside location in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, Sweden.
