Responsibilities
• Work with other engineers to architect and refine game systems and online features related to online games (client-server networking optimization, integration with backend services, etc...)
• Debug, monitor, test and optimize networking layer for bandwidth, memory and cpu performance
• Cooperate with other engineers, designers, artists and other personnel to solve cross disciplines issues
Requirements
• University Degree in Computer Science and/or Mathematics or relevant experience
• Proficient with C++
• Development experience on game consoles
• Ability to contribute innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Passion for making great games
• Experience playing previous MachineGames games
MachineGames was established in 2009 by former founding members of Starbreeze Studios and acquired by ZeniMax Media in 2010. Located in Uppsala, Sweden, MachineGames is a studio comprised of a seasoned group of developers recognized for their work creating story-driven games.
