Smart Residential within Assa Abloy is responsible for providing connected products for the residential
markets in EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa), GCSEA (Greater China, South East Asia)
and PNEA (Pacific and North East Asia). Smart Residentials' primary global platform is the Yale Home
Ecosystem.
EMEIA has established a strong product development capability with its base in Malmö, Sweden,
including both hardware and software development as well as project management and quality
assurance. We will continue to evolve the organization, and in this role the focus is on the customer
journey of the platform.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer with a focus on iOS development to join our team of developers. You will be a part of the Yale Smart Residential R&D team and being a part of building and evolving the Yale Home ecosystem of products and services, participating in defining technical strategies, driving development standards, and ensuring our applications meet the highest quality benchmarks. Working closely with a talented cross-functional team, you'll have the opportunity to influence product decisions and technical direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and develop high-performance iOS applications, mainly using Swift.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Actively participate in technical discussions and provide mentorship to other developers.
Drive the implementation of best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and maintainability.
Ensure seamless integration with backend services through our APIs.
Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and usability.
Stay ahead of emerging iOS technologies and trends, advocating for their adoption where beneficial.
Oversee the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle, including App Store submission processes.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in iOS development with a portfolio of complex, high-impact applications.
Mastery of Swift; familiarity with Objective-C is advantageous.
In-depth understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, reusable architectures.
Solid experience with tools such as Git, Xcode, and continuous integration systems.
Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
Exposure to automated testing and test-driven development is a strong plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
Familiarity with cloud-based tools and services for mobile app development.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines tailored for mobile applications.
Ability to influence and lead Agile processes in a collaborative team environment.
