The Manufacturing Engineering Department is under expansion. Future engineering work will be focused on driving quality and productivity by utilizing production IT (MES) and automation. To leverage within the Radiometer Group a central function will be established to drive solutions, standards and support. Therefore we are searching for a
MES Application Specialist
You will apply/maintain/develop our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) engineering knowledge, solutions and standards for the Radiometer Group, by creating and executing production IT (MES) strategy with various stakeholders. Lead projects to introduce production IT control system that supports production automation. Act as subject matter expert in data collection/data base handling in production projects. You will be the sustainment owner of implemented MES systems and hands on regarding implementation of changes including required documentation. Also you will coordinate the MES server/SW and license management with corporate IT operations team. The position of MES Application Specialist is a fantastic opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in driving productivity by developing a paperless system utilizing MES in the areas of: Data collection, Quality management, Process management, Maintenance management and Product tracking.
The positioning is placed in Ängelholm, Sweden with an estimated travel of 25-50%, mainly to Finland and Denmark.
Qualifications
We believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success:
• Engineer in electrics or software
• + 5years’ experience in: o MES engineering, preferable with GE Proficy software’s o PLC programing and/or Data collection/Data base configuration o Exposure to operations processes in a highly automated manufacturing industry preferably within Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry
• Technical know-how in practical operations and manufacturing processes
• Project management competence
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish
• Excellent computer and organizational skills in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word
