In Skellefteå, we're developing our hardware to our LiDAR system and we're specialized within opto-mechanics, mechanics and electronics. To our aid we also have a modern and fully equipped testing facility.

What you'll do?
As a Mechanics Designer you will be part of our LiDAR hardware design team, and your main focus will be the mechanics design for our new LiDAR products. It's a challenging task to cope with mechanical stability of the optical components, thermal management and make the case sealed to the tough environmental requirements of a vehicle component. Other important aspects are to design cost sensitive solutions for mass production and finally make designs that are functional and look great.
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this role, we think that you need to have:
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent working experience
• At least two years ' experience in mechanics design
• Experience in SolidWorks and/or CATIA
• Experience of designing small mechanical designs
• Working proficiency in English
If you have experience from one or more of the following, it will be considered a strong plus:
• Automotive
• Design calculation of strength
• Design calculation of thermal expansion
