We specialise in complex assignments and offer our customers excellence in development and integration of systems and attributes for complete vehicles.
Position description
To our integration team we are looking for Mechanical designers for work with systems integration/vehicle packaging for our automotive customers. We believe you have a background as part/system owner or designer or a background from manufacturing engineering or similar. Preferably with a wide experience of different materials/systems and manufacturing methods.
As a Mechanical Integration Engineer you will coordinate the different engineering departments and assist in concept solutions/selections and layouts, that system owners continue to develop from. Work tasks include understanding systems and requirement specifications, concept modeling in 3D CAD system, evaluation of proposed solutions from other departments and suppliers. You are responsible for a given geometrical area of the complete vehicle and work together with other integration engineers as a team to balance the vehicles different characteristics to meet the customer expectations.
Skills & Requirements
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical engineering
• At least 5 years work experience in mechanical design, within automotive or similar area
• Experienced CAD user
• Teamcenter, VisMockup and Catia is meritorious
• English, written and spoken
• German and Chinese is meritorious
• Driving license
