hela Sverige Driveline Systems at Volvo CE is the core competence center within Volvo CE for driveline development and are responsible for developing transmissions, brakes and wheel axles including systems engineering, SW & controls and design for all Volvo CE products e.g. Articulated Haulers, Wheel Loaders and Motor Graders.

To department Product Improvement within Driveline Systems we are looking for a talented person to strengthen the capacity and competence.
Department Product Improvement supply product maintenance and cost reduction projects with competence and technical solutions to continuously improve our products.
Your responsibilities as a design engineer will be to develop 3D-modells and production documents in close cooperation with production, purchasing and sub suppliers. You will also be responsible for assuring that design and quality targets are met.
Qualifications
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience, and preferably some years of experience in the design of driveline components.
• Experience of 3D CAD design and development in Catia v5 is an advantage
• Knowledge of quality tools and processes, FMEA, DMAIC is positive
Personal Qualifications
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Target and result oriented
• High level of integrity and quality mindset
• Ability to work and perform in cross-functional project teams, both inside and outside the company
• Self going and be able to take initiative
• Good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Interest in machines and especially drivelines are positive
