The position is located in the Base Material group. We strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in collaboration with our suppliers, converting factories and package platforms. Your part in this will be to drive the aluminium foil material technology expertise, interacting with many highly professional stakeholders around the globe - both internal and external. Your base will be in Lund and you will travel 40-50 days/year.
Your main responsibilities in this role include:
• Drive cost & quality improvement projects with aluminium foil suppliers
• Contribute with competence to support converting process improvements
• Translate system requirements to aluminium foil specifications
• Qualify aluminium foil suppliers and grades
• Monitor performance and drive corrective actions
• Maintain up-to-date specifications and compliance certificates

Kvalifikationer
As a person you are open and actively share your knowledge with others. Building relations comes easy for you and you know how to balance listening with persuasion and helpfulness with firmness. You are analytical and organised which makes it easy for you create a structure and keep track on many parallel issues. You are a clear communicator and excel at both spoken and written English.
Your educational background is a MSc degree in Material Science or similar. You have solid experience working with aluminium. Experience within thin gage aluminium foil and/or food packaging application is a clear advantage. Practical experience of supplier development and quality performance assessment is considered a merit.
