Role Summary
This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
As a Material Coordinator within the Cell Development team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of battery cell prototypes to support rapid development of electric vehicles. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across logistics, testing, and production to ensure materials are available where and when they are needed. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our electrification journey.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate the flow of prototype materials to ensure availability for testing and production.
Co-chair prioritization meetings to allocate battery cells effectively across projects.
Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, logistics, purchasing, and production teams.
Drive proactive problem-solving and process improvements to optimize material flow.
Support continuous development by ensuring alignment between material needs and project timelines.
Who You Are
We believe you have a degree in mechanical, chemical, vehicle, or electrical engineering-or equivalent experience. You are structured, communicative, and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Experience in logistics planning or material coordination within the automotive industry is a strong merit.
Fluency in English is required; Swedish or German is a plus.
