Join us on our journey into the future #Siemens
Be part of an open and dynamic workplace where professional and personal development is high on the agenda. By making sustainable energy solutions more cost effective, developing new technologies for the future's smart industry and electrifying passenger and freight transport, we make reality of our vision of a sustainable world.
We are now looking for a student to take on the assignment
* One field that we want to be investigated is the in-house code developed during many years in different Siemens Energy company around the world. The burners and the flame is a central part of a gas turbine and they are utterly important to minimize the combustion dynamics and emission levels, as well as maximizing the fuel flexibility.
* In the development process we use CFD and in-house own developed code to evaluate the temperature field, pressure, and flame velocity for different layout of the Combustion Chamber.
* The goal of this project is to study different concepts of in-house developed code and implement the optimal solution into a programming language for instance C# or similar. The work will consist of concept generation, evaluation, analyze data, concept model and testing.
The proposed work is to be performed within 20 weeks and includes preparation literature study and decision making for the selected platform.
At Siemens we value diversity by inclusion and by cooperating with people with different mindset, background, experience, competence and personal traits - in all organizational levels.
The challenge
