The European Product Management organization (EPM), within the Essity Professional Hygiene business unit, have the responsibility to define and deliver a compelling European product assortment which meets demands from customers in the business to business segment. We support a continuous product and service development built on market and customer insights.
We are now searching for a Master Data Specialist for Professional Hygiene.
The European Product Management organization have the responsibility for the Tork assortment on the European market. The EPM organization does this in cooperation with Global Hygiene Category, regions and Product Supply.
The Master Data Specialist needs to have sufficient knowledge of the SAP environment. As Master Data Specialist, you are an important function within our organization as being responsible to ensure a high data quality in our systems that effect operations and processes in whole Value Chain.
The Master Data Specialist will report to EPM Business Planning Director and will be located in Gothenburg.
Main Responsibilities
Guardian of the data quality in the different master data systems.
System maintenance of the European assortment:
• Material Master
o Creation and updates of materials and packaging material
• PLM Product Lifecycle Management (Specification Module)
o Secure correct information in specification system
• PIM - Product Information Management - (internal Web-catalogue)
o Secure correct information from Material Master and PLM
o Categorize articles to enable correct display and search functions
• Participate and represent AFH in central Master Data forums
Support internal Professional Hygiene users with reports and fact sheets
Participate in projects related to launches, building and implementing of new data systems, etc.:
• Validate and update system information in Roll-outs and launches
• Continuous systems development
Experience and Background requirements
• Basic knowledge of SAP modules & system landscape
• SAP Material Master basic views
• Good knowledge of Excel
Knowledge in following areas is a merit
• Understanding MM interfaces, i.e. where data is and are sent to
• Understanding about how and where different attributes are used
• Understanding Supply Chain business processes incl. Combine / Repack
• GTIN allocation / Packaging Measurement rules
Prerequisites
• Team oriented
• Support oriented mind-set
• Problem solving: Be a good partner to project teams in defining right approach
• Fluent in English
