One of our colleagues is retiring and we are now looking for a Master Data Manager to join Global Business Services at Essity, former SCA.
Global Business Services (GBS) provides professional and transactional business services globally to all Essity's business units. Enabling people to drive performance and create business value, covering Finance and Company Administration, HR Services, Facility Management and Master Data Management.
We are looking for someone who is responsible for defining, developing, implementing and maintaining Master Data policies and procedures for Vendors within Essity globally.
The position is located in Gothenburg.
Main Tasks
Communicate and support the Master Data vision as defined by the Essity Master Data organisation including global harmonisation and a single Master Data process
Develop global Master Data policies and procedures within the Master Data domain and ensure they are implemented
Train and communicate with Essity's business functions to ensure appropriate involvement and understanding of the global Master Data set
Mentor and lead all direct reports and actively plan for their career development. Provide specific, timely and constructive performance feedback.
Respond to more complex, escalated enquiries from team members. Develop and provide problem solving guidelines, checklists or other materials to improve problem resolution.
Actively approve mass upload Master Data in conjunction with IT group
Proactively contribute to projects and initiatives, challenging the status quo and identifying new opportunities. Ensure success of Master Data component in each project
Implement desired workflow tool across all geographies, forging relationships with IT Architecture colleagues and ensure promotion of Data Governance
Key Competencies
Relevant university degree
Very good communication skills in English
Leadership and team management experience
Relevant work experience in SAP material management, sourcing or similar systems
Holistic thinking and cost consciousness
Independent way of working
Data processing knowledge
Strong IT skills
