hela Sverige The Marketing and Sales Manager position will provide you with many opportunities and interesting challenges on both a local and global level. Your main task will be to lead and manage a multicultural group of Area Sales Managers. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing the strategy of the local product group within Europe, as well as developing and implementing marketing and sales plans for European markets in order to reach the goals of the Product Group. The work runs in close collaboration with the High Voltage Breakers & Modules global sales team. You will have to cooperate in developing our channels and markets, setting goals and budgets as well as creating and executing action plans. The position entails business trips and meetings with customers and other business partners worldwide. This could, among others, include customer visits, product seminars, and negotiations.
To be suitable for this role you have preferably an engineering background and at least three years of experience in International Sales, Marketing or Business Development, preferably within the area of Power Products. In addition, you have experience interfacing different customer segments such as Utilities, EPC's distributors, Industries and OEM's. As you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, you have extensive international experience and are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish and other languages, is a plus.
On a personal level, you are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solution oriented working style as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. Moreover, your experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you coach and motivate by influence. Your customer-focuseness, positive mindset and confidence help you handle both ups and downs and manage both strategic and operative assignments.
You will be part of High Voltage Breakers in Ludvika that has worldwide ABB responsibility for the development, production and sale of high voltage breakers for both AC and DC power systems. New products are developed and tested in our own high voltage laboratory. We serve markets in both Sweden and other parts of the world. High voltage plays an important role in reliable and energy efficient power systems.
