Market Intelligence (MI) is the unique provider of vital information and insights on consumers, competitors and markets within Volvo Car Group.
MI guides and influences all major Volvo Car Group business decisions with its knowledge, conclusions and recommendations on consumers, competitors and markets.
We now seek a Market Intelligence Analyst for the areas of Customer Databases and Insights. In this position you will have the possibility to combine your strong analytical skills with your business mindset and hence impact future development within the organization.
The Market Intelligence department is a global organization and a part of Product Strategy, GCE. You will report to the Senior Manager MI Headquarter Team, based in Gothenburg.
Main responsibilities
Lead and develop the area of Customer Analysis, databases & Insights within Market Intelligence.
Provide comprehensive information based on intelligent data analyses. Emphasize on quantitative data analysis.
Create communicative visualizations and present them cross Volvo Cars
Participating as Volvo Cars representative in the syndicates/clubs running these studies.
Develop and implement new deliverables based on stakeholder needs.
Represent MI in relevant fora and activities cross Volvo Cars.
Required qualifications
Master or equivalent university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Statistics or Behavioral Sciences
Excellent analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills, to structure and analyze information.
Fluent in English written and spoken, other languages are meritorious.
Personal qualifications
Customer focus and the ability to relate this to the business situation.
Strong analytical capability and ability to think conceptually, as well as apply in practice
A good knowledge of the Volvo products and the key competitors.
High business understanding & cross functional working style with a strategic mind-set
Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
Creative and innovative mind set.
