hela Sverige The Burger & Söhne Group, famous in many markets around the world for its key Cigar and Cigarillo brands Dannemann and Al Capone is rolling out its business unit for Smokeless Tobacco Products from Sweden into new markets. The Smokeless Tobacco Manufacturing facility is based in Sweden and operates under the company name Råå S AB with its base in Helsingborg, Sweden. Today the group produces the Snus brand Al Capone and the Tobacco Derived Nicotine Product on!, whereby the Al Capone Snus brand was introduced in 2013 into the Swedish market and is in the early stage of development with strong growth. Our intention in the very near future is to expand the Smokeless Tobacco Category (Snus and Tobacco Derived Nicotine Product) availability into new and viable markets around the world and strongly grow sustainable market and value share over the years to come. In this sense the manufacturing site in Helsingborg will be extended and automatized as the business grows.
The jobholder is a member of the Smokeless Tobacco Business Manufacturing Unit, which is responsible for the development and manufacturing of innovative smokeless tobacco products in the right quality and quantity to serve the markets at all times.
Purpose Statement
As an integral part of the smokeless tobacco manufacturing unit, the role of the role of the Manufacturing Technician is the responsibility to implement and further develop our automation projects. In addition the Technician is responsible to assure optimal maintenance of all production machines and systems which are in place in order to deliver high quality products at all times. Another key role as part of the manufacturing team is the fine tuning of our production processes and quality standards.
Business results
Upgrading/fine tuning production machines to optimally use its potential and to assure that quality, effectiveness and efficiency parameters are achieved. Regular maintenance of the systems in all aspects, mechanical, electrical, plc, programming to assure optimal manufacturing at all times.
Define new projects that enable optimization of the manufacturing process / facility over the long terms, i.e moving from a start-up company to an efficient and effective manufacturing company.
As part of the Product Development Team to contribute to product quality assurance together with Quality Manager (Food Chemist).
Tight budget control; assure that assigned budgets are managed in the most efficient and effective way.
The jobholder should have the following:
Technical Education with electrical and technical engineering and broad understanding of it.
The job holder has worked in a similar role in a manufacturing unit for FMCG or Pharma products, ideally in a young operation whereby the person was involved in project development and implementation (i.e from A ? Z)
The job holder has worked for a minimum of 3 - 5 years as Service and Maintenance Technician and was a so called all-rounder having experience in mechanical and electrical areas.
Has track record of own manufacturing projects executed, especially in the area system development and integration into the manufacturing process.
Capability to implement projects simultaneously.
Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint and other communication programs).
The job holder needs to be fluent in English language.
