We are looking for a talented individual to be a part of our Manufacturing team focused upon the manufacture and supply of Devysers in vitro diagnostic products. The role requires highly accurate liquid handling techniques with great attention to detail and extensive record keeping.
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is required. The candidate will be well organized, thorough and able to work within a team with a good knowledge of quality standards (ISO13485) and good manufacturing practice (GMP).

SUMMARY
» To plan and produce the range of commercial products and reagents cost-efficiently, on time and to agreed specifications as required.

» This role is primarily laboratory based requiring approximately 60-70% of the time in the laboratory.

» This role also requires office based administration, data analysis/reporting duties approximately 30% of the time.

» The job position is permanent, full-time 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing:
» Operate and maintain essential equipment to a high standard to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and recommendations governing safety, health and environmental standards.

» Ensure supply of products on time, cost efficiently and to the required regulatory standards and product specifications to ensure that business and customer needs are met.

» Develop, refine and optimize new and existing production processes to maximize efficiency, quality and reproducibility of finished products thus minimizing cost of manufacturing operations.

» Contribute to process improvement programs and troubleshooting through the performance of non-routine operations and reporting of data.

General:
» Comply with company Quality Management System (ISO13485)
» Fluent in Swedish language
» Good skills in written and spoken English language

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
» Biomedical Scientist.

Experience:
» Working within a manufacturing environment, especially diagnostic or life science.

» Working with nucleic acid purification, PCR technology, capillary electrophoresis, massive parallel sequencing techniques.

» Good knowledge in molecular biology methods.

» Working knowledge of ISO13485 and GMP.

Other
» Good laboratory skills.

» Attention to details.

» Excellent IT skills.

» Good degree of literacy and numeracy.

» Good record keeping.

» Good organizational and planning skills.

» Good communication skills.
