We are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer within advanced ME General Assembly!
Description
The GA (General Assembly) Department, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Manufacturing Organization. The GA team is responsible for all manufacturability assessment, and improving the processes and tools around it.
We are looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer for General assembly, who, is main responsible for manufacturability of new or changed product parts, and responsible for coordinating and coordination of various activities in the projects around this area.
This include a responsibility for execute our upcoming new car projects
Your main responsibility areas is manufacturability including assembly time as well as costing and planning of new or change equipment and process including first level of manufacturing instructions whit in product area.
Your role as a Manufacturing Engineers will be to lead all cross-functional activities within your area and report to our project leader within manufacturing general assembly. You will be responsible to fulfill our KPI deliverables, and execute your part of upcoming new car project.
The role involves:
• Responsible to secure so all manufacturability requirement, will be fulfilled for General assembly production before we start PPV.
• Speaking partner to our R&D engineers, so all requirements will be implemented in the product documentation.
• Responsible to define RPS, create assessment reports, quality try-out plans etc.
• Report the actual status to our project managers.
• Drive/be part of Benchmarking, Continues improvement, Planning & follow up, Virtual build, Six sigma, Concept selection etc.
• Responsible for KPI:s like: FTOK, Ergonomic, Budget, Efficiency.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• A Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
• Work experience within automotive industry a merit
• Experience of project work, and within the automotive industries a merit
• Experience of engineering of high voltages electrical parts.
• Experience of manufacturing engineering
• Experience from, NX and Team center, MS Project and MS Office is a merit
• Used problem solving with sense of urgency incl. root cause analyzing
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both verbally and written form
• Ability to travel
• Driver license B
