Manufacturing Engineer to Volvo Penta Production, Vara
Operations
The Global Operations organization consists of plants in Sweden, China and the US. The Vara Plant in Sweden manufactures diesel engines for propulsion systems and consists of approximately 220 employees. AB Volvo Penta is dedicated to the development of best practices in order to meet our customers' needs. We look for a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve the production performance.
Role Mission
• Be responsible for introducing new products and changes in production.
• Be responsible for the technical support for a part of the production flow.
• Drive the improvement work and rationalizations within a part of the production flow.
• Participate in project work, both within product and process projects.
• Report to the Engineering Manager in Vara.

Requested Qualifications
You have a university degree in Engineering or Automation or similar knowledge and/or experience from manufacturing operations in a plant environment. We also believe you have basic knowledge in Swedish working environment regulations, some knowledge in quality and environmental standards and are good at improvement work. Language skills in English and Swedish are a must since we are acting in an international environment.
