We are looking for two Manufacturing Engineers to join our Product Supply team. You will be part of a growing department with many exciting and challenging assignments ahead. We are facing an increased production volume together with facility expansion plans at the same time as new products and technologies are to be implemented. On top of that new partners will be added to our supplier base.
Your primary role as Manufacturing Engineer is to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Additionally, you recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and inspections. As manufacturing engineer you may also coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform improvements in close cooperation with production and product development
• Be a part in new product development projects to ensure manufacturing ability
• Maintain and establish new manufacturing structures in PDM & ERP systems
• Specify, procure and qualify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
• Be part responsible for the production facility and its systems
• Perform root-cause analyzes of manufacturing-related problems
Requirements
• Master's degree in production engineering, mechatronics or other relevant discipline
• At least 5 years previous assembly experience of electronic and mechanical advanced products
• Previous experience in manufacturing and working with advanced mechatronic systems
• Good knowledge in quality development
• Be familiar with Six Sigma or LEAN methodologies is preferred
• Ability to develop new and existing working methods
• Ability to act both independently and with others
