As we are currently building the organization within Nevs, we need to strengthen our Manufacturing function.
We are now looking for a Product Engineer Press Shop.
Description
ME Press & Bodyshop group, that you will be part of, is a group within Manufacturing Engineering Department (ME). The ME department is a unit, inside the Manufacturing organization.
Our main responsibility is to secure manufacturability requirements, for all upcoming programs and support the different areas within manufacturing. Within the role as product engineer press shop you will investigate the feasibility of new components regarding manufacturability including feed-back to product design and to secure that parts are feasible in NEVS press-shops. The work include tooldesign of decided product, and process changes including update from documentation.
The role as Product Engineer Press Shop / Press Die Designer involves:
- Process planning of components (investigation of necessary number of operations/part)
- Investigate changes/impact of dies at NEVS: - Feasibility investigations i.e. is the proposed change possible with regard to current tooldesign
- Impact and cost analyze.
- Input to tool workshop for capacity planning
- Run formability tests with finite analyze tools (AutoForm) and interpret results and define/propose solutions
- Develop and improve die specific standards and procedures
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum Technical High school Education in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Been well Educated in Die Engineering, min 2 years
- Experience from automotive industry, min. 2 years
- Experience in Cad modelling/Drawings/FEM Analyze software (Experience with AutoForm, NX & Teamcenter, is a merit)
- The ability to communicate clearly in Swedish & English, verbally and written
- The ability to travel
- Driver license B
